Living Walls / Vertical gardening… seems to be all the rage lately here in Austin, Texas. Not everyone is doing it, but a lot of people are talking about it. What a wonderful way to have, display and enjoy all your succulents, echeveria and sedum in one place!
They are more and more common now and you can find them/see them in restaurants, hotels, airports, parks and private homes.
I think they are simply stunning! The combinations are endless. You can make them virtually any size you want, any shape and any design.
Depending on your particular climate you could have them indoors, outdoors or in sun rooms.
I have seen them in a variety of places, area and cities and never get bored of looking at them. One of my particular favorites was in an airport using house plants. Who would have thought?! Everything looks so lush and pretty.
It doesn’t matter what your combinations are- succulents, sedum, echeveria, house plants, veggies, herbs- mix and match and play around. Think outside the box and create your own colorful mix of plants. More importantly, have fun with it and if you aren’t that adventurous, just look at all the ones others have done and sit back and admire!!!
