Discover why Rock Rose, Pavonia lasiopetala, and the gorgeous ‘Ellen’s Legacy’ cultivar are must haves for Texas gardens!  These Texas native perennial shrubs thrive in our hot Texas heat and are drought tolerant.

They have hibiscus like blooms- the traditional Rock Rose are pink and the more unique variety, the ‘Ellen’s Legacy’ are red.  These will bloom summer through fall in the garden.  Pavonia are perfect additions for pollinator gardens – the hummingbirds, bees and butterflies are attracted to their blooms.   They are easily maintained with a trim to keep it’s shape.
